Hi guys, just a quick setup question about the back of the F3 box. On the two satellite cable connectors (LNB Line In + Loop), do I need to connect both cables from the dish to receive and use the signal, and is the second (Loop) for recording? It's been a while since I used the dish and seem to remember that the SKy+ needed the two connected to be able to record.

Thanks for the info bees, am I right then in thinking that "loop" connector would be if I was linking the F3 to an external player? (ie a straight cable connection from loop to external input, not using the 2nd satellite cable at all). Thisi s just for my own knowledge of the F3, you've covered the satellite angle for me.
 
the loop is to feed a second satbox without running another cable from the satdish. BUT IT DONT WORK lol unless you want to use 1 satbox at any 1 time
all satboxes have to have their own independant satdish feed to work properly

It's as well I asked, saved me from hours of trying out something that doesn't work to start off with!
