Skybox F5 dead

Hi everyone,
I done a single satellite scan on a Skybox F5 and it locked up at the end, and would respond to the remote. Unplugged it and now it is completely dead. It is a faulty box? Thanks

left it for 30 minutes and plugged it back in still dead

no its a bricked box you will need rs232 null modem cable and recovery software to flash it now. or get intouch with your supplier see if he will take it back if you have not flashed it in any way just done a sat scan
