can i record on skybox f5 usein ubs and external hard drive and if so how

yes you can with usb but it looks like you can only record the channel you are on..

do i reformat hard drive to fat 32

Have a read here

When you plug it in, it should flash up "USB inserted"
on the screen, if it doesn't you may need to format it fat32
