Hi everyone, I purchased a skybox f5 off fleabay with 18 months free gift. I'm having difficulty connecting to the internet. I have tried using the supplied skybox wifi dongle and get 76% signal strength but time outs when I try to connect to my Sky router (I tried changing the encryption settings but no luck). I purchased a wifi bridge which I connected my skybox using the Ethernet cable supplied and switched the network settings on the skybox (I have a steady green light and a flashing amber light on the rear of the box). I have no idea if its connected or not. I don't get youtube or youporn. I have looked thorough cccline files and haven't see online or offline. I get all the free to air channels.
How can I check if I have the "free gift" installed?
I'm completly new to this and also a little thick when It comes to this so it might be something Ive missed.
I tried to contact the seller but his English was not so good and I could not understand him.
I hope you guys can help me please.
