hi all,

my skybox f5 has now come. ive plugged it in thinking its just a simple plug and play. all i keep getting is no signal, i can see the channel list but every channel says no signal?? what do i need to do next? please help im new to this

no signal is anything from the satdish to the box nothing to do with internet/server line that would come up scrambled not a great help i know. is your satdish setup right? are coax plugs ok ****have you plugged the dish in the right dish port at the back of the box(not the loop port)*****

Have you got the coax in the LNB in at the back ?
Make sure its not in the loop connection.

Do you have another box to see if you get free to air
channels ?

Did you set up your own dish or was it already

it was already installed, and yes i can pick free channels up on my old sky box.

ive had progress..... ive plugged both cables in from my sat dish one into the loop and one into the LNB now i can pick up free channels but not the sky ones its saying scrambled. next step please guys?? thanks for your time
 
told ya loop port. did you pay a cline server(or get a gift with the box) to unscramble channels?
box on its own= freesat channels
box+cline(gift)+internet connection= all channels

i just got the box off the net with sky uk loaded. i didnt pay for a cline, where can i get this from? cheap :0
 
cheap means nasty. i hear sky do a good special sub about £100 a month or maybe vermin might be cheaper

Read through all of this tutorial
it explains how to enter your
line.

Don't go too cheap with your line, better to pay a couple
of quid extra for a stable service.

You don't need both cables. Remove the one from the Loop input.
 
Hi, check out you tube, there is a video of how to set the box up. I think you have to connect to the correct satellite. Hope this helps.
