hi all,
just joined this forum, so be gentle with me!
im not the most technical of people but i can follow simple instructions :-)
i have had my box for around 18months with very few problems. i have been very happy with it. (until now)
the 1st 12months i had the "free gift" included when i bought the box,
1st 12months, no problems & was very happy with it.
when the 12months ran out, i stupidly bought a "12 month gift" off ebay.
it worked well but a couple of times i had to download the latest channel update, no problems there.
but now, again all channels (except FTA) are scrambled & obviously doing a channel update doesnt change this.
heres what i have done : menu-single satelite search & it takes a minute or 2 to finish (longer than it used to btw)
in network local setting - camds set up- ok- CCcam client set up - then it displays "update files by usb" or "manage config files" & "copy files to usb root, update"
this means nothing to me, so i rapidly exited.
if i go onto NETWORK APP I have 4 choices youtube,you porn, xmltv epg or weather.
the weather app works but the others dont.
previously i could click om youporn (as an example :-) ) & i could watch stuff.
now all i get is a rainbow coloured disc but nothing uploads.
i have a feeling i may have done something to it as my broadband is fine, the box is connected to the router visa ethernet cable.
can anyone help a noob?
