Skybox F5S No signal for some channels

have found something regarding this called Diode Fix, not sure what it is so am still currently researching. In the meantime if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. It sounds like this is my problem

Edit Edit: This is definitely my issue, unplugged other LNB's and everything fine. Now, if i get this diode fix thingy, do I just plug it into the skybox f5??

Ive just got my new box set up and sometimes channels will work and sometimes not. movies seem to be the biggest problem, when i check antenna setup and make sure its at Universal 9750-10600, it only makes a difference when i change the transponder but it doesnt seem to save my change and when i go back out, my signal goes back down to 45% strength and 10% quality. but when i change transponder i get 90% strength and 75% quality. For some reason the box always stays on (45/125) 12168 V 29500. When i change it to (44/125) 11836 H 27500 the signal goes up.
Can anyone help? am i missing something?

The transponder shown in the TP list shows the transponder for the channel that the box is currently tuned to, so every time you change it, it will revert back when you go back to watching that channel.

Do you have another box connected to the same LNB? If so, & the box works OK when you remove the other box from the LNB, then the "no signal fix" should work. It just plugs in between the box & the LNB lead of the F5s.
 
Thanks for all the replies. I unplugged my other sly+ box and it is now working perfectly. Ordered a diode fix box off eBay already for the no signal fix. Was annoying but it's a simple fix. Thanks again guys!
