Sling tv on firestick picture quality

Hi, I’m currently using sling tv on my firestick 4k….the picture quality seems is watchable but very low quality in my opinion….would picture quality vary from firesticks to dedicated boxes? Using ExpressVPN to.

Sling has been pretty poor lately using Shield, on big matches the picture quality seems to get worse, I tried express ad steam locator, I don't bother with it now!
