i tried atv before but i am so used to vix i didn't really get on with it ; i've got a duo2 so it's supported with vix but if there's not going to be a planner mod for it i may have to look at atv again

Ok so as I've got to change to OPENATV which when I tried it last time it was Laggy as hell :( that's why I didn't use it, any suggestions as to why it is so Laggy?? And which build can I use which isn't Laggy and takes ages to go through things cos of the lag...thanks

Yep I'm in the same boat using my edision, officially supported by vix and that's what I'm used too, tried atv a couple of times on my old zgemma's but preferred vix, if the planner mod won't be for vix I may have to switch to the dark side!

For me, it's not a case of it being important.. more of a case of I like to mess with the boxes.. I don't have the skinning skills that some of the guys here have, so i have to live vicariously through their releases :)

Haha i hear you mate; I'm pretty sure others will say ATV is just as good or better I think its mainly based on opinion really; when i first started using e2 the cloud ibox 2 se i bought had ATV pre-loaded on it and i just could not get along with it; and I also found it quite laggy and hacky; but I suppose VIX has it's flaws too - Used VIX for about 2 years or so now and much prefer it to ATV however it has probably improved and changed a lot since I last 'tried' to use it haha

Its all part of the master plan...:) I am only against vix on unofficial boxes, because I get sick of seeing the same stupid questions over and over. Problems they wouldn't have if they used openatv on zgemmas.
Anyway back to my mod... sorry got distracted gambling. Slots were on fire tonight.
I am off work friday. So I will definitely release the atv version on friday at the lastest. As for the vix, all depends if I have time on friday to install vix and have a play.
They ATV version will probably work on vix, but it seems vix movie player caters for blurays??? it also doesn't have the option to switch between different movie planner layouts and I noticed in the code, it references vix menu for something to do with mounting the hard drive. Why you would do that in movie player I don't know.
I am sure one of you eager beavers will stick it on vix to see anyway ;)

Ok so I love the skin and plugins I am using an IPTV built into bouquets with fully intergrated epg and also a mount to my nas drive, what I was hoping for is to get my movies and tv shows into zgemma with imdb data or itvdb data and having a director in the planner like your suggesting but I could call it Box Office and Sky Box Sets(although a fake one) it would link to my box sets on my nas and all the movies?
Can this be done Kiddac or is it loads of work?

Ive have been researching for almopst a week now to try and create my own metadata the same as the zgemma does to no avail, if you or anyone has any ideas I would be most grateful.
just installed that yesterday and all it seemed to do was change the way the string looks for the recordings so for example 2307654 Sky ATLANTIC - WESTWORLD 04-10-16.ts would be renamed to Westworld .ts so plex server can see it as a movie and fetch the imbd data, on a skin note is there any way to create a sky box sets page that I can link to my nas drive where my box sets are located? I have the locate button in the planner that switches to my nas drive but its a lot of messing for others, I wonder if there is a way to skin it at all ?
