I've been lurking here a lot for the last few days!
I want to join in the fun, what I've ascertained is:
Buy a box:
I want to record and pause and a Sky EPG replacement - so I'm looking at the ZGemma range. I was gonna go for the ZGemma 2S, but it appears the ZGemma H.2S is more up to date? Would that be preferable?? For the extra few quid, I'd rather have something more up to date.
I'm seeing a few comments from people saying, don't buy a box off Ebay WITH a gift. Obviously it supports TechKings if I buy a box from the link from this site and I'm more in control.
Flash the box:
This seems easy enough, I work in IT so it's not baffling, but it can't get much simpler than stick someone's image on a USB stick, put it in the machine. Done. There are many good guides here.
Get a line:
There's a thread where you can ask. Nuff said. You get what you pay for. Don't buy lines for more than 6-12 months??
