Thanks I've tried both and they are both good. Are you just using the default setting for which service you use? I.e 1, 4097 etc

Personally i use openvix and suls plugin and this works great for me,

I personally don't see the benefit or running these different build such as wooshbuild and infinity etc.. although i'm not exactly sure what extra features they offer.. to me it just seems like another thing to have to check if issues arise.

Hi folks!

The other day I won a bid on a VU+ Duo 2 for a bargain price of £90! Gutted I sold mine off the other year thinking that a TM Twin 4k was the future!

I'm going to install openvix, the Slyk q skin, slyk q 7 day epg and jedimaker for iptv on it when it comes tomorrow, should arrest my lockdown boredom for a while!

Hope you are all safe and well!

I used to run stock openvix. Was pretty smooth experience until it came to recording iptv. It just did not like it. I tried a few dif builds.

When I switched to stock openATV I was amazed at the snappyness. Maybe that was just down to a clean flash or what not. I just found it loaded quicker. Recording issues were also ironed out.

Best to just try a few using each for a week or so. I prefer tinkering than actually watching haha

Why are you using openvix o a vu box when you have blackhole ?? Best supported firmware going that is.

Ive had a solo2 for about 5 years now, never let me down. Bit expensive when i bought it but worth every penny, paid itself off over the years. Im using vix image and its great. Plenty of support and always updating to keep up with the changes. Plus you can just update from the box without usb on latest image.
Runs iptv really well via xtreme editor plugin, has its own vod section etc. You can add usb-c adapter for cable, really good box. Just use genuine images, i take it's a genuine box and not a clone. Enjoy.

Blackhole was usually on the clone boxes as they were a cheaper build,as mine was original only used Openvix.

I put ATV 6.4 on my solo2 but the flash memory free space was zero on it and the box was crashing a lot of the time so had to go back to 6.3. Actually just checked now and the free space is zero on 6.3. Must admit though I think you can see the difference in quality of picture between 6.4 and 6.3.....6.4 being the better.
Have ATV on 2 x Amiko boxes and it works great....certainly my preferred image
