Some YouTubers are telling you to get rid of all firesticks after major changes by Amazon today

I have firesticks from World of satellite. The one downstairs is connected and it just removes one Sports and doesn't it allow it back on until code changes.

Bedroom football is only connected to dish and it still has streamfire connected 2 months later.

If I go for something like a XstreamTec Dcolor GD2 Android or similar would that stop removal of streamfire?
