Hi Bilbo.

I have house in France, French sockets are (I have not found any that are) not switchable.

When we go to bed everything without an on/off switch is left in standby mode.

I am planning to fit two 10amp switches before the sockets so everything is OFF at night.

Would 10amp switches be OK for circuit 1 a 43" plasma TV and circuit 2 two sky boxes, DVD player and video player.
