It seems to have gone up a little to £17 odd. I paid with a revolute one time card as i did not know whether to trust them or not. They say they will email you the login credentials but mine did not arrived. They make you an account on their site with your email and they send you the password. I just kept logging in and checking, after about 5 hours it said it had been delivered. I kept following links and eventually i found the page with my logins. I think they use something like india but the account is not restricted and not geo locked. So far after about a week and a half all is good. Your spotify name is not your own email address its one they make up for you. Be carefull with other links on their site as some try to pop up that are not theirs. If anything asks you to pay for anything quickly close the link.

You can also find other sites by just searching in google for cheap Spotify accounts.

I have done this 2 years running, without issue.

1. Make sure you're using Spofity with a free account. (so if you're currently using a subscription this will need to expire first).
2. Start by switching the VPN on with loction set to india
3. Head to the following URL and set your country to India ( if you don't see india as an option your VPN is not on) Login - Spotify
4. Head over to G2A and buy a 12m India gift card
5. Get your e-mail from G2A, (ensure you're still connected to the VPN when you click redeem, otherwise you won't see your code)
6. Head back to spotify (with your VPN still on) Login - Spotify
7. Paste your code and activate
8. You're all set!

AT THIS POINT YOU CAN NOW SWITCH OFF YOUR VPN AND TEST.

DO NOT CHANGE YOUR LOCTION BACK TO UK!!

IF YOU DO THIS YOUR PREMUM ACCOUNT WILL BE REVERTED BACK TO A 1 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION.

*NOTE

YOU WILL SEE IN BROWSE ALL, THINGS LIKE HINDI, MALAYALAM, PUBJABI ETC, DUE TO THE SET LOCATION - BUT THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE IS COMPLETELY THE SAME.

Regarding this. my spotify account expires tomorrow. I had an india subscription.
I don't remember exactly do I have to install this through the browser the subscription with vpn in india is through the app on the phone

You will the VPN to buy the voucher, but also you will need to VPN ensure your country is set to India, if it’s not already.
 
It's a lot of hassle to download a sh1t tonne of music, between storage and searching, etc. That's why streaming is so popular, I suppose.
Also, I didn't know Anna did music as well as books. Good to know

apparently it was them who scraped the entire spotify database :laughing:

i only generally use deezer in offline mode when flying, then it tends to play up half the time
 
Update on LOW COST Spotify:

My Indian subscription ended two weeks ago, and since gift cards have jumped in price, I looked for a cheaper alternative. I found a site called G2G (search for "Spotify Premium top-ups") and managed to get a Spotify Duo sub for about £20 via Egypt!

The process is a bit different: you have to provide the seller with your login details so they can sign you up locally. I’d recommend changing your password to a temporary one before sharing it, then changing it back once they’re done.

For the Duo plan, I had to set a "fake" Egyptian address so I could invite a family member (they just have to match that address on their end). If you’re just buying a single sub, you won't need to do that. It took about 4–5 hours to complete, but it was definitely worth it for the savings!

Thanks for this. I've used G2G for other stuff but didn't realise I could get cheapo Spotify. I'm trying a month first and if all good; then sub for year.

Hi, thanks for this. Can you give me the lowdown on what happens next. Ive cancellelled my Spotify Premium (£12.99 a month) Ive sent off for a one month account to test it. Sent my Spotify username & password. Will it automatically kick in or is there something else i need to do? Cheers

Hows it going with this as my Indian sub has just ran out and looking for a replacement. Was it a fairly easy process?
Also if you go for the month sub and then update to a further 12M do you have to do the same process again?
 
I had a 12 month Spotify sub through Z4 keys Purchased October last year, had the dreaded e-mail yesterday "We wanted to let you know that your Premium subscription has been cancelled because the country where your subscription was purchased doesn’t match where you’ve been streaming from. You’ve now been switched to our free service" Got 6 months out of it which in my opinion is still good for under £26, but now the dilemma whether to chance it again
