Satellite Ssd and h7s help

Hi all, I have a spare 256gb ssd as I have upgraded my computer. Is it possible to put this in my h7s? If so what lead do I need? Any pointers would be appreciated.

You should have got the sata lead with the box when you bought it.
I use SSD's in my boxes and they work fine.

No, even the new 1tb sata i brought has no lead, however no matter so i just need a sata to sata lead not the power lead?

Yes got it thanks. I need to format it before I stick it in, it was a windows boot drive, is there any particular format it needs to be?

If you can format it on your PC I would use MiniTool Partition Wizard and format it as Primary ext4.

Yes I can, I have a sata to usb. I take it the mini tool wizard is in the start menu. I’m very new to win10
