star 2s wont flash

it won't get past boot even with different supply?
if you have another box, put a usb in it and initialise it
put that usb in the 2s and flash it by using webif>terminal
paste in grogbuild freerange command line and click enter

Will it open like that as it won't respond to typing the ip address
 
if you can't access webif, your only option is to flash by usb
What method have you used so far?
explain in detail please what image and preparation of usb you have tried, also what size/make usb's?

16g scandisc. Formated via willo build. Download openatv 6.3 inserted in rear port hold start button and power on but no joy
 
Format using FAT32 in laptop/pc
put unzipped zgemma folder on usb and eject
put in rear port of powered off box
power on with white button, keep finger on standby button til it says FLSH on display
 
You will need to low-level-format the USB before you give it a fat32 format or the box will not see/read the flash files, an alternative is to buy a NEW USB & fat32 format it as NEW USB's do not need as much prep as a used USB. Performing a low-level-format on a 16gb USB will take a long time so best to use as small a capacity USB as possible for flashing (2gb to 4gb are perfect for this purpose).

thanks for the help guys, but no joy. tried 2gb 4gb and 16gb does not budge
