Just came back from ireland (midlands), brought over a new starview 5 with the latest firmware loaded from uk,said i'd give it a go, hooked it up and scanned through c****s ,then hey presto everything working, no problems. good news for the family (for now anyway).obviously no nag3 there yet or is there something we don't know?:happy:
 
I'd agree with eva, what part of the midlands of ireland, and who is the digital signal provider and what firmware did you use?
 
Not all of ireland has gone to n3 yet, mostly just the larger towns, a few of the smaller areas are still ok.
 
the firmware was the latest firmware available from this forum, and like i said, just loaded it to give it a go and it worked ,all the channels, don't know how....:confused:
 
matcon, well enjoy it while it last (y)- like all other boxes its only a matter of time before it goes
