can anybody help me set my starview 6 up

What sort of help are you askig for?. At what stage are you stuck.? if you r bit more clearer maybe we can help. Let us know m8

Starview 6 firmware for Uk & Ireland
Added after 10 minutes:
Link GUINNESS-1.00 for Ireland
Link CARLING-1.01 for UK
Menu - Option -networks - net application - select type “Ustream(UK) or Istream(Ireland) - ok
From the main menu go to Utilty and then press the right arrow button and select usb
from the right hand side, you will see the Carling/Guinness press ok on it and make sure to select SW+ALL DATA UPDATE..
the machine will update and restart (don't pull your Usb stick until complete out until the machine has fully started up)
you now need to scan your channels, NO SPLITTERS ON YOUR INCOMING CABLE WHEN DOING YOUR SCAN
so go to installation press the right arrow button again and go down to AUTO CABLE SEARCH
all you need to change symbol rate. select AUTO
The symbol rate determines your area for example N*l is 6887, the other numbers are 6952 for Telepe** and EXc&w.
When you have selected your area go to start scan.
once the scan has finished go to menu then highlight accessory and on the remote press the numbers "8989"
you will then see "Key edit" appear on the right hand side, go to it and press ok and just check that auto update is on if its off just turn it on.
Then go to to your channels by exiting the menu and pressing ok..
Select a non FTA channel and leave it until a picture appears
PLEASE NOTE IT CAN TAKE UPTO 5 MINUTES TO UPDATE SO BE PATIENT
GUINNESS-1.00 and CARLING-1.00 files : Ethernet Enable sw(STARview6) in Ireland and also fine to works pat** sw in UK
Follow as below procedure go to menu then highlight accessory and on the remote press the numbers "8989"
you will then see "K*yedit" appear on the right hand side, go to it and press ok and just check that auto update is on if its off just turn it on.
To use with LAN connection.
Menu - Option -networks - net application - select type “Ustream(UK) or Istream(Irealnd) - ok)
If they have 16:9 please follow up “ Option -> OSD Setup -> Screen Format

thanks for the info i have done all this that it says but still no channels on the box it says not connected
