Starview HD queries

thinking of selling SV7 and sat receiver and going for all-in-one HD+
I have a few queries:

1. Does combo clear any cable HD channels? If so, which ones? According to a previous thread HD channels don't clear. Is this still the case?
2. are there any 'gift' channels for Starview satellite?

the hd does clear some hd channels ie living i think you get discovery e4 and bbc none of the sly ones clear. The gift im sure depends who you buy from. its a good unit when you have c/s sharing set up picture quality is very good. id defo recommend it.
