STB memory error when try to update the firmware F5S

Make sure your com settings on your pc match the upload tool. Make sure your com port is between 1 and 4, seems to be funny outside that range. Then do this......

Plug null modem cable into box but not the power cable. Open your rs232 upload tool, make sure include bootloader is ticked, select your firmware and click next. THEN plug in the power cable and it should say DONE, and then it will start to load, fingers crossed
 
Try a quick check---swop over your box psu for another one---the psu can and does deteriorate and causes the fault of constant loading as the amperage has dropped. This has been discussed many times in forum. People then think the box has the fault and try a reflash and brick the box.
So before a reflash always check the psu, cables and if possible the lnb then if all ok go for the reflash as the last resort.

It's not firmware----Adjust your timing between pressing next and powering up box---can take many goes but usually falls in to place.
The erom tools hates laptops and usb adaptors so just persevere and have patience.

like reaper says the timing was always an issue but the way I do it as I mentioned above works every time, if it comes up with your error it is normally the settings not matching or firmware. please post a snapshot of your firmware file name and also a snapshot of your com port settings on your pc/laptop

Change the port speed! stream in 9600 and loaders in Device Manager! then run the boot loader "run prog Upgrade Tool, put ptchku
include bootloader, choose the com port and port speed,
window mode should stand Upgrade,
then choose (uncompressed) file and click Next
and turn on the receiver to the network (220)
(If all true test done) will be done
and will download the file (zhdems min 13-15)
after the end of the line boot again click Next
(Below) and will ship Boot (several seconds) and click finish zhdems
res until reboot itself and all things ...
firmware is finished, disconnect res and bear to the telly,
customizable .

you need here this dump! for the restoration of the dead receiver that's (full F3S F5S) raspokuyti download and try stitched

the settings will work fine as long as your com settings match the uploader tools settings. please go to control panel - system - device manager - com port or usb ports (whichever you have) then take screenshots of the settings please
 
Hay que cambiar la paridad a IGUAL, y cambiar la puerta del com a un numero entre 1 y 4, y sequir lo que he escrito arriba en el mensaje numero 2

Cambiar a PAR, y entonces en opciones avanzadas puedes cambiar el puerto de COM abajo de todo,cambiarlo a 3 y aceptar los cambios
