Stuck on boot green light

Hey hope someone can help me out.

Have two Zgemma 2S in the house. One is giving me trouble. I have USBs that i have kept that do flash but they will not work on this box. I just get stuck on boot with green light.

I have nothing connected only the hdmi, power lead and usb. I have tried vix, atv, and other images. I can flash one box no problem the other nothing. So the usbs do work.

I have got it to boot in the past. After many many attempts. If i restart the box same thing. Now it just wont boot. Just stuck on green light and Openvix logo.

Is there a guide or video on how to diagnose these boxes? There seems to be very little information online and i have searched alot.

Have see information on RS 232 null modem TTL Convertor & putty.exe. Is this process difficult?

I know you said the USB works in 1 but there is guarantee it will work on any other box. It sounds daft but the boxes are picky. My advice would be to get a small 2GB Kingston or Integral usb or any other for that matter as long as its smaller than 16 gb, the smaller the better though.
 
Thanks for reply. It seems hard enough to buy a 2gb memory stick these days. I will try and get my hands on a few. Have been using SANDISK 8 GB Cruzer Edge. Have Flashed a lot of boxes with these sticks but its just this one box that is giving me issues.

Can you tell me the difference if the box is stuck on boot with a green light and stuck on boot with red light?

Dude i know ur pain. They seem to be getting harder and harder to flash by usb. Just been through 4 kingstons to get 2 boxs to flash. All 4 usb and boxs brand new. I have found they sometimes even work on the 3rd or forth power on in sucession before letting light go from red to green. I dont suppose there is any pattern to it and therefore a fix. Although the low level formats do seem to help. Who knows
 
I wish my girlfriend was as dirty as my USB port. A clean of the port worked I don't believe it. Just after ordering 4 more usbs today. Different brands and as low size as I could go. My kids will be getting a fine collection of usbs when these boxes eventually kill me. This box has given me trouble before after getting past this stage. When I restart the box actually goes to boot again. I will update shortly. Thanks guys
 
Ive actually started to just put the original backup zip labelled atv on to usb and flashing through menu if they dont flash 1st time
 
Thats what i was at for a while now myself. Seemed the only way my temperamental box would flash when stuck on boot. Was using image restore from another usb then. Since reading the walkthrough on your latest build i just ftp and restore now.

I think i have figured out what is wrong with my temperamental box. I was using a usb powered hard drive. 750gb freecom i had lying around. This has worked no problem with another S2 in the house. My temperamental box does not like it. Going to stick with usb stick as hard drive on it. Can restart now which is great. Also kiddac was correct and it needed a lung blast.

If your box ain't a booting stick your arse in and get tooting. Forgot the coat. Found it now.
