Yep checked all connections and tightened. Area issues just say about catchup problems

Yep tried all that maybe see if it picks up later on in week. Just wondered if other people had same problem

Seen this before and its a signal problem although on the H1 i think the SNR has to dip to below 59% before you see any breakup, if it carries on your better of with a variable booster

Yep that's what seems to happen. Had a h2h and that was worse. Will try a variable booster cheers

sorry to hijack thread my boss just got a solo2 and i set it up at mine and all was good but since its been at his he is getting channels freezing he dose have a attenuator fitted not sure on the rating and not sure on the signal i am thinking its a possible signal problem after reading about online do you think if he got a variable attenuator this could sort the issues out
and if he got one what figurers should i be locking for on the SNR ACG BER
forgot to say done the normal reboots on box and router he says he has checked the connection but i will double check when i pop over

how did you get on with a variable attenuator
i have seen a few on amazon any recommendation if the 1 you got helped

A Variable Attenuator drops the signal power we where discussing a variable Booster to increase signal power on an already weak signal, i would say try removing any splitters and attenuators fitted before you buy anything

I have the same problem on a couple of channels with VM signal low. Some older threads are saying try without the splitter, but surely you need the splitter or am i doing something wrong.

well i removed the attenuator (it was a 10db one) from the 1 on the received and it has seemed to sort the freezing out i will find out more tomorrow what its been like this evening
for good measure i also rebooted the router box and re started the cams also
there was also a attenuator on the super hub 2 i have left this 1 in place still would removing this 1 make a difference to the receiver
