Supa Q app issue

Hope someone can help. I've an Android box running Supa Q app. MAC is setup as the EPG downloads. When I go to select the channel to play, it crashes and goes back to the desktop. I've tried updating the app to the current version. I don't see a preview of the channel in the top left corner either.
Any ideas?

It's a HK1 RBOX. I would have assumed it was good? It looks like it tries to looks for a player software that's missing, but then fails

Tried that. Cleared cache and data, so completely fresh, and it still crashes when I try to launch a stream :-(
