Supplier VOD Vs Plex

Maybe late to the party but if you watch a film or something on Plex compared to supplier VOD it is like watching two different films. I noticed not to much difference In picture but sound was a different ball game.

You do need the correct hardware and setup but well worth it. I was watching some films in Dolby Atmos and 7.1 sound. With 4k Plex said it required just over 70 meg for this to work.
 
I really dont bother with sound mainly because dont have the hardware and setup for Atmos or 7.1 sound. Plus I find if sound is clear and loud enough it does the job.

Cinema HD with cracked premiumize links or RD links works great and you have a huge amount of links 1080p and 4k especially with premiumize links.
 
Its not about how loud something is mate. The sound is the difference between SD and 4k. But if you have never used it you would never know.

Im not saying their isnt a difference. Of course sound coming through with audio tracks for 4k releases with correct hardware/setup is a different level. Dont think I have disputed that.

My cousin has a setup with soundbar and amps where the whole room starts shaking even at medium range bit exccessive imo but he is a sound enthusiast.

For some like myself sound isnt everything and nor does it make or break viewing experience. Just my opinion of course.

That's not excessive that's good you want to hear the rumbles the thunder ect well in my case I do I've technics wired to to about 10 speakers in my living room😂😂😂😬😬😬

Exactly you get that true sound effect even better when watching like up in smoke tour (dre and snoop) concert but get what your saying bud about sound difference I only put the system on if watching a movie oh and did it for f1 Sunday 😂😂😂

Each to their own mate.

Those into the crystal clear sound and effects you get around you for the immersive experience then more power to them people.

I dont like the room full of sound or room shaking personally.
 
Would someone care to enlighten me over Plex Vs vod. Almost everything I watch is vod. So my IPTV provider has live TV plus movies and series. I've seen Plex subs available but I thought it was for watching your own stuff. My provider does not have everything I want and I have to use other sources to access the content I want. By the way it's not porn it's such as stargate series and lifebelow zero. Maybe I've been looking in the wrong places.

If you buy a sub to someone's plex you have access to all the content they have on there. A good seller will be open to requests and will source anything that's available and put it on there for you to watch.
 
Plex is designed for VOD and TV series so a Plex server will have more content than IPTV.

IPTV is more for live TV with VOD as an added extra and costs to add more VOD servers.
 
Plex servers as people said will be made for the VOD market. It is the best for playing movies and TV.

These suppliers are generally on the ball when it comes to content

Not always a lot of lazy plex suppliers out there who do not organise their stuff
 
I’ve noticed 2 people in this game. People that love quality (Plex Users) and people that couldn’t care less and want to just play something well (Vod).

Plex is a no brainer for me without faffing with broken links or poor quality. The layout is superb. The servers I’m on mainly consist of Remux rips so it’s truly the best quality you can get.

IPTV Vod will more than often be encoded to shit and starved of bitrates and low in file size. However, people don’t mind that. Also more beneficial if you don’t have the internet speeds or equipment to stream Remux files Etc. Not only that Vod will often come as part of your IPTV service.

I’ve said it before Remux 4K can run into 80+GB in size. I’ve seen files 100+GB. The quality is superb though. If you have both the equipment and speeds then a solid Plex server is a no brainier.

@bazcfc1 as for the Up In Smoke Tour I cannot believe that hasn’t been remastered. If I had a time machine that be my ultimate tour. I was like 5/6 at the time lol

I was 17 when they went on tour maaaaan I would’ve loved to have gone to it but it does need to be re mastered for shizzel 🤣🤣🤣

My cousin way back seen Dre/Snoop in Brixton sometime in the mid 90s. Can’t get more prime than that lucky b*stard!
