
Suspected Las Vegas Strip shooter Ammar Harris was booked into Clark County Detention Center Tuesday morning after spending nearly six weeks in a Los Angeles jail.
Harris is accused of shooting aspiring rapper Kenneth Cherry Jr. on Feb. 21 which caused Cherry to crash into a taxi cab, causing it to explode and kill the two people inside.
Harris was arrested in California a week after the shooting and deadly crash. He was being held there until he could be extradited to Nevada.
Harris is due to make his first appearance in a Las Vegas courtroom on Wednesday at 7:30 a.m.
