Cable Switching to standby using timer

H1 with openvix
I have set a timer to put the box to standby at night as it often gets left on by accident. It doesn't work if the box is left on channel preview or epg. Any ideas how do this?

I just tried this on epg and it shows a dialoge warning box for a minute, but then it goes into standby. OpenAtv.

With openvix there is a question box which is only visible when switching back to a channel "A finished powertimer wants to set your Zgemma Star H1 to standby. Do that now?" Yes/No.
