TCL 50P638K - Anyone Got One?

Hi all,

Looking at getting a new 50" TV as my current Samsung has developed white spots on the screen.

I've been looking at this TV as money is a bit tight at the moment - https://ao.com/product/50p638k-tcl-tv-aluminium---anthracite-94201-108.aspx

This would be in my living room and get plenty daily use. It would just be for general TV viewing and on demand stuff, no gaming. Just wondering if anyone has one of these and rated it? Reviews online seem decent enough although did read TCLs drop WiFi quite often, no idea if that's true or not??

Alternatively does anyone have any recommendations around the same price? Thanks in advance.
 
I would personally avoid budget android TV's - I suspect it will become 'laggy' in no time!

The Hisense you linked is out of stock and I would buy from Costco, John Lewis or Richer Sounds as they offer 5 year guarantee on TV's sold.
 
I would go for the Hisense one personally.. try and find from Costco they had some good deals about 320 mark not long ago for 50 inch, maybe a spec up

I have the hisense 58 inch TV and decent for price sound was a bit tinny at first but sorting the eq out sorted that issue other than that can't rally complain about the TV
