Telnet error when connecting in DCC

You do not need DCC, here is the link to Wooshbuild for your 2S, it is really simple, just follow the simplified instructions to the letter.

You will need a decent quality flash drive , preferably Kingston.

Best of luck.

I have only just seen your merged post= I hope you can recover the line, if a C; line it will be in CCcam.cfg, if an N: line, it will be in Newcamd list.

Try usr / keys

I can't access his line info and if i flash over the top of it i will lose it altogether, he purchased the box and line together, I have noticed there are a number of people with the same issue so I imagine same server provider.
Once I can find out the info I intend to put wooshman on it as i run it on mine and have no trouble at all.
I just don't know why I can't access the box thru DCC or filezilla

So I have managed to get the telnet connected but it still won't access the box I have no access to the file i need

Open DCC, all connections showing green.

Click Telnet, click anywhere on the black screen.

Type the following command;

lsmod | less

press enter.

Click Configuration, click Telnet Protocol.

Copy and paste the entire contents of what is revealed, on this thread.

I can't type anything into either box, have tried both but nothing happens

It seems you are trying to login to an xbox.

Try flashing Wooshbuild on your S2.

Lines are cheap.

Yes it shows up as xbox i assume this is how he programs them, who knows just been a right pain in the bum tho.
Just waiting on line info from supplier then I am flashing to wooshbuild, I use it on mine and it is so easy to set up and use.
In hind sight i should have done the box for him and sourced just a line in the first place, I always tell people if they are going to do this sort of thing they should at least learn something about how it works.

Thanks for the help rs47 you have been very helpful
