I got my hands on this card a couple of days ago,now straight of this wont play ds roms.What it can do is play avi movies with no converting,so for those journeys with the kids who cant agree what to watch you can stick different movies on each.A big plus to this card also is the fact that with the onboard hardware and a little homebrew application this card can play gba games without the need for a slot 2 adaptor

is this the same as an r4 type card, where you put in a memory card depending on how many movies you want on it?

Yes it is Wheelo,i converted a divx file to avi and it was still quite small,with an 8gb card you could easily get 4-6 movies on there if you did what i did
