Thinking of iptv

Hi guys. I'm thinking of investing in a iptv box and sub. Few questions tho.

1. I only have Internet speed of around 4mb is this sufficient as some say yes and others no

2. There don't seem to be many providers around advertising and I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction

3. I've been told the mag 254 is best box to buy. I have a Zgemma h2s which I've had a test line thru but will the mag254 be better for my download speed etc..

Thanks

Hi mate, the mag 254 works very well as a dedicated iptv box, i've had no probs with mine. As for the broadband speed you need more than 4mb otherwise it will buffer.

I've had a trial and most hd channels cleared fine. The problem I saw was the ghosting of say a football kicked at speed whilst watching a live game. Is this normal or do I need to adjust something?

Sorry to jump in on your thread mate was just wondering if you manage to find a good iptv subscription only I had the same problem with iptv on my smart Samsung Tv couldn't watch football really.

Just started my sub. I have to say I'm impressed. It's currently running on my zgemma with a sat gift. Checked a bit of football last night and didn't have a problem with ghosting. I don't have mega fast internet probably around 12 mb download. Also the hd channels are a big plus.

Not sure about download speed 4 mbs sounds a bit slow but can definitely recommend spending the few extra quid and buying the mag 256 box for a much more powerful device

The ghosting isn't to do with you DL speed, it is due to device. On your device, change the output to 50hz instead of 60. Also if you have a TV with settings like 'motion detect' etc then turn it off. That will fix it and it will look crystal clear.

Had a trial with Daz off here. Very very good. Bit late now with the footy about to end but probably take a day pass to watch the boxing and then see about subbing in the new season.

That's what I've got at the minute zgemma h.2s but with a ccline don't think I can have iptv onit because I've got openvix not wooshbuild none of the plugins work.

Tried other day got all the info from ere but never came up flash when I turned it on, does it have to be a certain USB stick.

Some work some don't. Loads of info on here with step by step instructions. Think i use a cruze blade stick. Don't have to be expensive ones

This was a 128gb just been told best to use something like a 16gb, followed step by step on ere was hoping it was going to be straight forward but always something. To reboot did you press the white button at the back

Can't remember exactly it was a year or so ago. I think to reboot just hold down power button on remote and it will come up with a menu to reboot, deep stand by etc
