Thomson 270+ UK bluetooth older headphones intermittent sound.

My new Thomson 270+ UK version:

Tried two older bluetooth headphones and sound is ok until after a minute or two when the sound starts to come and go every second as if someone turned down and up the volume knob every second.

A newer set of earbuds seems to work ok, but I really want to use the headphones.

This is the only device out of all my phones/TVs/computers that has this problem with my older headphones.

Any ideas other than buying new headphones?

Never mind. I had the sound settings turn surround sound off as the option. Put that option back to automatic and it seems to be working ok now.

Note to self: stop changing settings when I'm drunk ;)
