Timeout for tuner lock

I am back here again, I turned of my box yesterday to set up another box. I plugged it back in tonight, it started to boot up. It then came up with tune lock failed, I went and checked it was set to the correct sat ect and done a scan. It was very slow and only found 200 channels, I run the auto bouquets maker and it comes up with timeout for tuner lock. I get the fta channels, it just says n/a if I go to documentaries. I noticed when it first booted the time and date was way out, it has sorted itself now. I am sure it is not possible there is a problem with the cables or dish as I had just unplugged the other box I set up.
Anybody had this problem?

check sat cable are located correctly,is box under stress making it run slow,time issue may have been lan issue,got a swap setup and in use?
 
Thanks for the reply cactikid. I am back up and running, I reflashed it. It took over half an hour to do a channel scan, it also seemed to take for ever doing the epg. Once I flashed it again I had no internet on it, I rebooted and it came back. I do have a swap setup and running, it does seem slower now than it was before.

if you were on vix abm would do channels without scanning and epg maybe not working lol,had that with originals also.epg going to usb as you did check :eyes:crap no you did not lol
 
Hi cacti, I got it up and running again last night. I am going to flash from scratch today, everything you do on the box takes forever. I guess the moral of the story is don't leave your box unplugged for to long lol
