TK Veteran Query

I haven't been on this forum for a while now.

Long story short I'm looking for a potential new provider. I've received contact from a TK Veteran, but they're asking me to delete my Tivimate, download it again and sign in using their details.

Is this normal? Just seems a bit sketchy to me.

If they're asking you to remove Tivimate and install their own version of Tivimate to make use of their then it seems reasonable. They probably have a 'locked' version which means they do not have to expose their url/dns...................

In the same way potential providers might find you sketchy as you 'limit who may view their full profile.' :tongueclosed::tongueout:

You can only use one version of any app on a device or it can cause problems. If the vet has his own premium version then that is the reason why. Other thing you can ask is for the url to use xtream codes but a lot will not give it out.

Definitely sketchy in my opinion. It's one thing to offer their own premium version of Tivimate and another to force you to exclusively use it. Extracting the url is piss easy even from a locked Tivimate and having the url gives you the flexibility to use any other app if you want and also getting a backup or a different playlist from a another provider so you aren't locked in.

Do they also give you a locked app for phones, laptops, tablets or just tell you their service won't be available at all? What a joke!
