Hey,

I've been having a lot of issues with my ZGemma H2H including the EPG not loading properly. It simply has Favourites (TV) & Last Scanned.

I recently put it on Wooshbuild & have tried countless plugins, including EPG Import. I've tried following solutions on here to no avail.

I wondered if I'm getting some of the EPG settings wrong? It's location is internal flash which I can't seem to change.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you a hdd mounted to it as epg should be set to hdd if you have one as zgemmas have very little internal memory
 
So I've managed to find one of my memory sticks i think, been able to switch it to save in /media/sda1 but I've tried it again and it hasnt worked.

No, how do I do that? (Mount I mean)
 
  • Setup -> System -> Storage Device -> Initialisation -> YOUR USB DEVICE -> Red Button.
    Once the initialisation has completed, hold the power button on remote until a menu appears and select Restart Gui.
  • Step 3 : Make sure the storage device is mounted correctly by pressing the RED button on the remote and selecting Plugins -> Mount ManagerYour storage device should be listed and should say Mount: /media/hdd.
    If it does just press the exit button until you exit the menus, if it doesn't press the Green button to Setup Mounts and using the Left/Right arrows on the remote change the mount until /media/hddis selected and press the Green button to save. Answer yes if prompted to restart the box.
 
Thanks Graham, I've managed to do that.

I presumed the next steps where to change the EPG settings to go to that /media/hdd folder, so I did that.

Did an EPG import manually from a source I found here, Jenseneverest, which appeared succesful, but then I'm still only seeing Favourites (TV) & Last Scanned
 
When you go into epg importer click sources blue an go to rytec uk
Make sure all six boxes ticked click save green the press yellow manual select yes!
 
I switched to another build (Wooshbuild was horrendous for this problem) Seems to be a bit better on the build i'm using now but some channels still have the wrong data (and yep all the rytec UK options are ticked)
 
Okay - tried that, all the Rytec UK sources, no change, can still only see the two options

This isn't an epg issue it's an autobouquetsmaker issue.
Go to menu>setup>service searching>autobouquetsmaker> change 'create sections bouquets' from no to yes, press green, press green again

I get to the Autobouqetsmaker section and the options I get are Configure, Providers, Hide Sections, Start Scan, Delete Bouquets, Update Config Files, Show Log & About

Which one of these is it? For reference when I start a scan it says "Cannot read data"
 
menu>setup>service searching>autobouquetsmaker>providers, change create sections bouquet to yes, press exit once
go down to update provider files and click ok
then click green to scan
 
I tried to find this, but I still couldn't see the create sections bit.

Now being an idiot I had 2 autobouquets plugins so I thought it might be cause the other one was cuasing an issue AutoBouquets (28.2E), so I tried to remove it and now I've ended up removing autobouquetsmaker... Errr, so how do I get that back haha
 
Got it back. Nevermind. Still can't get it to work though...

I've changed all the Vermin ones in the bit you told me to "yes", re-scanned and still get the error I mentioned before, cannot read data
 
No I'm just using Cable. When I click into the bit you've mentioned I get

  • Com hem
  • FreeSat UK
  • Kabel (NL)
  • Sky ROI
  • Sky UK
  • Virgin UK - has loads of sub menus
I was messing with it and changed the Area from West Yorkshire to Leeds, and that gave me a full EPG channel list but the channels have stopped working. Leeds isn't exactly where I live, but it's the nearest city. Do I just re-search for services?

Change it back to west yorkshire netid, then save, then update provider files, then scan
 
Keeping it with Leeds as the location & channel searching after worked :)

I changed it back to W York to try it, but still got the error. Don't seem to get it with Leeds.
