As the box has a twin tuner
Is there s way to watch and change channels on a phone tablet independent from the main box

And also what's the best kodi plugin to watch channels from the box?

You can stream to phones and tablets for Apple use vu plus player sd version not hd but it doesn't work for android I use timote
 
I use timote for my hudl 2 and stream to kodi with an Amazon fire stick not with the enigma pvr client as it lags the box to to much.

I have Kodi on my firetv stick but didnt know you could stream from the zgemma to it !
How did you set it up?
 
So will this allow me to watch a different channel from the box and a different on my iOS device for example ?

wow i had NOOOO idea i could stream it to the firestick... now have it set up in three different rooms .. thanks for the info :D
 
Wasn't sure how to " save the bouquets list to somewhere your kodi player will see it " as I tried this on my laptop but it didn't give me an option to save it ...
Not tried it on my tv stick yet or android tablet . ..

Basically it means connect to your openwebif page of your zgemma and click on the little television sign which will download the playlist to your computer.

Once downloaded keep it in a place where you know where it is because you will tell kodi to load this file.

On my tv stick when I click on the little tv sign it won't save the file , it tries to download it but says cannot open file .
there isn't a way that I can see of getting it to save ...

tried it on my pc as well and it won't save the file , it just opens it on the pc.....

tried setting up timote but cannot get that working either .... ( on the android stick )
ive managed to get vj+ going on my iPhone and iPad , but I realy wanted to get the tv stick going either via kodi or via the timote that is on it ..

can anyone advise me on this ?.

I've got the timote working on the tv stick . But when I stream from box it doesn't fill the screen on the width of the tv.
if I stream a recorded program to the tv stick it plays full screen .
i can find any settings to adjust .
Any ideas why ?

On your pc you are opening this page correct? Then clicking the tv icon next where it says sky uk - all channels?

on your pc what web browser you using? im using firefox ,windows 10, when you click on tv icon another box pops up, it says open with, but just below that is save file, which saves file to "downloads"

Windows 7 buddy and Internet explorer and yes it's that very same screen .
. Just opens the file , no option to save it ( this is on my pc )
on the tv stick it won't open it at all ...
 
on internet explorer, you should gat a box at the bottom of the screen, when you click on the tv icon, says "view downloads" it will have saved in your downloads folder

im using windows 10, so internet explorer might be diffrent!! just download firefox on your pc
