with the snow on the horizon how many of you are trying to drive on snow and get nowhere:no no:only once did i not drive car,i decided to change my front 2 wheels which are the driven ones to m/s tyres [ mud and summer ] to give me more drive ability and be safer unless its black ice:eyes:in some of the colder countries its law you change over to winter tyres, and snow chains wreck the roads and may not be legal.
so think ahead do you need winter tyres on your car?

It's a bad idea to only change two tires, it's throws the balance of the car off (front has traction and the read doesn't), if you are going to change tires you have to change all four and it's also a very good idea to get proper snows tires, they have a much softer compound and deeper thread, they don't harden up when it gets really cold and a hard tire will lose traction much quicker.

my front wheel drive will do whats needed and it may be more difficult for handbrake turns with snow tyres:yes!:
yes as you say the colder countries would change all 4 tyres.
