Hi guys,

I'm having an issue where my EPG won't download or populate despite trying everything.
Im using a zgemma H2S and it does it all automatically when I run telnet the script from my provider. Except for now.
When I go into EPGIMPORT plugin (which is what's used) and do a manual scan it will import the relevant categories except for UK IPTV, which accounts for most of my viewing tbh.

Has anyone come across this issue and if so have u solved it?

Yea this is one of the most posted problems at the minute
Have a search on the site
But you need to update the epgimport plugin and pick the correct sources
Or if you have updated the plugin you will just need to pick the up to date sources

I've done that too. Uninstall Ed EPGIMPORT and reinstalled it. Picked sources, manually scan. No joy.

I did. Hes not having the issue. The source that won't download for me is UK IPTV as I mentioned in my first post. That covers most of my channels.

Non of my VOD/LIVE IPTV channells show up.......... Is this the same issue, I was thinking I had done someting wrong? I've contacted my provider and had no reply!!

My channels are there. It's just the EPG that's not.

It's a rytec issue with epg sources, they changed the way it works and suppliers need to get their fingers outa their holes and rewrite scripts etc

Really? My supplier tells me his EPG is fine though which is weird.

press menu plugins remove plugins .then go to extensions remove epg importer when its gone restart box .then menu plugins green download plugings .install epg inport. .when installed go on epg inporter blue for sorces tick rytec iptv xmltv then scroll down tick uk freeview .uk fta. Uk international. Uk sky live . Uk sky dead. Uk sports/movies press green button to save exit out of it all now press menu plugins download plugins press systemplugins then cross epg downloader install it .then menu setup .epg then cross epg click update rytec providers. Then xmltv providers .scroll down tick rytec iptv xmltv. Not the xz 1.click uk freeview .uk fta. Uk international. Uk sky dead. Uk sky live. Uk sports/movies dont do the xz ones press green to save .now it takes you back then click download now

Why are u saying use 2 diff importers??
CROSSEPG Importer is used for the satellite lines. Surely they will conflict.

This is the temporary fix as of yesterday I know it's two different sources but it's the only way to get full epg at the minute if it's saying cannot retrieve rytec then your cross epg plugins is not up to date you need to remove install all online updates and re install

Ok fair enough I'll try it tonight and see if it works for me. I haven't used cross EPG in awhile so I'll update that first.

I've just confirmed with my supplier that Rytec have changed the way they list so scripts must be rewritten. It works for some and doesn't for others.

No worries then yes it's a supplier issue I hadn't used cross epg either I think it's just a way of exploiting the sat feeds to compensate for epg importer not covering all at the minute from what I can see anyway

CROSSEPG needs to be updated. Make sure u restart the box after uninstalling and reinstalling cross EPG.
The method described above worked for me and I've my EPG back again.
