We know that bit. With all the bad press Amazon are not interested in people who dont sign upto there services. And are trying to distance themselves i think from iptv users. There's nothing in it for them apart from bad press.

It may just be the fact they no longer have to rely on Google os.
They will have full control over the os and how it’s implemented.

Could well be. But vega runs simular to roku boxes so I suspect you will get some apps on there. IBO and smarters come to mind. But i dont think you'll have the same choice.

There are much better devices out there now around and sometimes a bit cheaper.

Obviously the cheap £15 ones from China are not as good
