Cable upgradeing firmware

hi there peeps,is there a easy way to upgrade the firmware ie openvix-3.2.037 with out having to put all the settings in again ,cheers

Well do a backup and then when you reflash the newest image it will ask do you want to import your settings and plugins.

ok I put the image on my usb ,put in the back off the box ,box boots up saying flash then when finish it boots up saying openvix world of satilite ,zgemma h1 box ,is there something iam missing during the flashing process cheers

Sorry mate just noticed it's an zgemma so can't follow the official process. Total reflash required from 36 to 37. Do you have the patched version off the zgemma website?

You need 2 usb drives. You need to make your back up to one usb drive. (make sure its initialised) Remove usb. Insert second Usb with new firmware on and reboot to flash it. When the picture comes on with the first menu remove the 2nd usb. Put the first usb back in and then run through the menu. It will at some point ask you do your want to restore settings from back up. Press ok and it will pick up the backup on the USB. Press Ok. Job done.
