USB recordings / Fat32 Formatted

Hi
Quick question I would be grateful for some help. ?
It’s regarding recording on the Zgemma box I have an 8 GB USB drive in place formatted to Fat32 I know that HD & SD recording will consume different amounts of space on USB.
However as Fat32 formatted drives do not allow files larger than 4 GB what if I want to record something that is in HD with say a running time of 60 minutes.
I ran a quick test recording today HD 23 minutes and the file size was 2.65 GB so on that test assuming the recorded item keep going at the same bit rate the 60 minute recording would be 7.9 GB
Running Zgemma Star H2 / Vix / Vermin

Cheers

when you put the usb into the zgemma, you have to initialase it, it makes it a ext3 format, and you can convert that to ext4, no restrictions in file size, (well there is about 1tb for ext3)

8gb is only good for epg and timeshift, invest in a bigger drive if your big into recording.

you read flashing boxes need usb sticks formatted to fat 32 on pc first to put image on stick, most boxes have their own format for recordings and until done wont work correctly.
