Can you stream from the Viark Boxes to VLC like you can with Engima2 boxes ? it would be good if you could , i haven't managed to find a way

They don't get done for the 4K mate really as they have to be organized on the remote as the PC based apps are crap and crash.

Here is 1 with uk channels.

But you will have to rescan any sats you have already scanned if you use it.

IPTV expiry time has changed - but no channels are working.
STB expiry not updated yet and no UK channels are clearing.

How long does it normally take for channels to start working?

Normally less than 10 minutes but some people have had issues where it takes longer

Took less than 2 mins for my expiry date to update, but required 2 reboots before anything new opened.

Turn the box off at the plug leave 5 and then power it back on.

Only way would be to manually scan sky frequencies only. Inputting each one separately.

Hopefully stb expiry date will update and start clearing UK chans soon.

Stupid question but is it possible to add satellites I can't receive with my dish to my Viark Sat 4K?

If so, the plan would be to add the same satellite the BEIN SPORTS IPTV channels are on so that with the 'IPTV to DVB' feature enabled, I could watch those on IPTV straight from the channel list instead.

With that setting, it will only show channels that are available in the iptv section.

If your dish is static, all you'll get is what sat your dish pointing at and the iptv.

Following a factory reset and re-installing latest firmware, stb expiry date has updated and UK chans clearing now
