Viark VIARK TYPE BOXES

To ask an obvious question and I don't need an absolute answer just a yes or no. Is there an alternative to what the viark offered rather than iptv or European alternatives? I just find it surprising it's open for Europe as I imagine the encryption technology is the same? Unless it's just a hotter subject in the U.K?
 
Instead of renewing a sub on a viark, has anyone just gone and bought a new box? (new hardware... new PSU... two years of updates....) isn't it the better logical choice?

I guess the only thing to consider is how much live sports will still be on sat over the next 2 years (up to 2028)

Not really imo if buying Viark 4K

What box are thinking of that has recently come out with new hardware, or so you mean same hardware but new.
 
I think you would buy about 4 years of subscription for the price of a new box with two on it.

When you think that you can get a Viark Sat4K and an 80cm technomate motorised dish pack for less than £300 its a no brainer. I'm pleased 28.2.e went down. Forced me to go motorised which I've always been interested in since the analogue days and finding other sats as a kid messing with my dads system.
