Right this sounds daft but this is how it works.

You have to park the dish at 8w but scan the the 8w frequencies under the 7w menu position without the dish moving to 7w so the 8w channels are stored at 7w or was it the other way around. Anyhow doing so tricks the server to opening the channels.

I parked it then disconnected coax from motor and made a direct connection to lnb. You might be able to turn usuals off but i did it that way. Maybe it could be done via a channel editor as well.

Once you have the 8w channels scanned in on the 7 west position it never needs to be repeated. Backup your list lol

it is also very much possible to add VIP and beIN Sport 7/8W , using my old reliable Starsat 2000HD Hyper
and Also Starsat SR-200 Extreme and STARSAT SR-2020HD SUPER .

Starsat 2000HD Hyper box was discontinued sadly but still works the other Starsat boxes can be shipped from Hong Kong but takes approx. a full month to deliver,
i bought my Starsat 2000HD Hyper from Flea-Bay years ago and a good friend of mine from Germany posted me a spare which still works very well
and i had VIP package on it at the start of this year and i could still add VIP but as long as 16E continues i am not that bothered right now .

Could you not just go in motor settings on 7w
Manually tune in a transponder from 8w just nudge right until you have good signal then save it?
The dish will be on 8w but the satellite selected will be 7w

Yes what ever way you feel will work. If the channel don't turn green, its not worked.

Main thing is to ensure 8w frequencies and channels for Bein are stored in the 7 west menu.
 
Is there a guide for setting the combo up? I've got it now and scratching my head, you have to flash firmware like the viarks?
 
Hi guys I mentioned previous thread after thew years out off motorised satellite scene decided to get my system working again and find out what's available around the satellite arc , after reading this thread thinking about ordering viark sat 4k (if they are still available done search not sure what the box looks like or if it's been updated don't want to order the wrong one ) couple questions to. Ask will the reciever give me access to server out off the box ? Or do I have to download some firmware to activate it ? ( I am not very savvy at this at my age ) I believe it comes with 3 year access then you have to sub ? Is it capable opening multistream Italian 5west thanks to all who reply

Viarks get regular updates firmware wise download in the download section. A sat4k is a Sat4k no version of it.

Your right, once you flash the PT firmware you have 3 years server time.

It will indeed for what is left on 5W
9E multistream is using a tight Italian Beam which sadly you and me both will not access .
i've had my Viark Sat 4K for 6 years now and still going strong apart from the sudden loss of UK/IT at end of AUG this year .
You will get 3 years and 1 year SP2 IPTV Free with just loading the current latest PT 1.25 S/W
SP2 has also lost UK channels since end of AUG this year so for sure is pointless to attempt to renew SP2
Many would suggest its now even pointless to grossly over-pay and Renew Subs at all unless to maintain BISS AU feature .
what is Left working mostly now can clear using any Cheap set of C/N Lines from ALI-Express etc..for a fraction of the price right now to renew Subs .

Thanks for replies guys so out box you don't get anything working , you need to put latest firmware first ,then after put pt firmware to activate server and available channels yes ? How do you do that thru usb is there guide on forum for us non technical like me ? (when if they go down do you have to wait for updated firmware to be released then download again , or wait for the server themselves to update channels ? You mention 3years and 1year sp2 IPTV comes with box I seemed to read in another thread for if you mostly want UK sly and most off European channels available you should go with sp1 sub is that not right ? Regarding ccline didn't now they were still being used and available ? used them myself years ago in various receivers does the box also take these , sorry for the number question guy but it's been long time I have been out off game , appreciate all your time and replies

agreed with this.
I've gone back to my e2 box today considering it opens very similar as the viark, the box is just much better to run.
from what I read re 28.2 it looks like they changed and updated the old sky digital boxes so it may never come back. i wonder if most of the market "move on" from viark and what that means for them in the future
