This would have absolutely nothing to do with firmware bud, if it did trust me I'd have noticed I was running it for 5 days solid on off trying to find a glitch

I'm running sucmnsee vix. I've just set my router back to normal now and it's all working again. So something in these instructions is upsetting the box unfortunately.

Sorry but it's not working for me, I'm pretty sure I'm not getting the router settings right.

anyone done the router settings with a sly router yet?

Does the openwebif settings look ok?

Thanks

Same here, setup router and box keeps crashing and boot looping on vix4e2 image, something not happy somewhere

I had the same problem, with the box crashing and getting stuck in a boot loop.
However, I believe it is down to the DMZ host settings in the router. Instead I have Port forwarded just the ports I needed and it seems to be working, without any crashes for a few days now, whereas before it would crash within a matter of hours.
I am not an expert so may have just been lucky.
Hope that helps.

@Lawrence How do you do this i set it up last night got the same problems? Also on Blackbox pro i'm only getting terrestrial tv not my sub is there a setting somewhere i need too change?

No I had to factory reset router then re flash box to get out of bootloop and ftp error. Haven't tried larrys suggestion to scared of messaging it up again. I use mobdro for sports and kodi for movies on my phone so it's no major issue.
