Vix Apollo025 Cloud ibox2+ SkySkin all bootloaders

Dude to be honest I dont even know what the kernel update entails. I assume its just a fw update to handle image changes. Or more importantly enigma 2 changes. But, like you've always told me, I dont think they're advisable unles ur just not happy with what you've got. I test as much as possible because I can lose a box. And try to keep people dl'ing images on the safe side of that. Im trying to test so they dont have to. But never change unless you have to.

Ps. The guy I get my boxs off has always provided me with boxs that work with all bootloaders so genuine. Hes a member here too and i dont mind pm'ing his details to you as a link to safe'ish supplier. Nice guy too. uk and im happy with price and great delivery times

they said that about enigma2 clones and look what happened, they swore new images would work and they were proven wrong,as you know things can take time,i stick to originals as i want to keep my last 3 hairs in place lol

lol lol Hehe
Ur right though, if it was one box for the house id save up and go Vu.
But for a budget box these havnt had many more problems than the originals with image stability and plugins. Id nearly say the plugin end hss been handled better by these! Since 2014.
And as an upgrade from a skybox, its worth the few quid.

In all honesty if u set up and leave alone they really are better than all the bad press.

Hi sucmnsee I am having trouble loading this new image my box just boots normally as if the usb stick is not there. I am worried about flashing new bootloader as all I have read is bad things about the boxes dying. I have the cloud ibox plus 2 ( not sure if v1 or v2) but the last image/backup you supplied worked great and have been using this for a few months now.

You can pop the 5 screws out of the case and look at the 2 boards. If they both have air ddt printed on them and it doesn't say made in Korea on box outside you SHOULD be safe to run bootlladers.

The other reason could be corrupted usb but if u try flash the old image and it works then usb is fine and its an outdated bootloader ur using.

Nothings for definite but hope this helps.

Try the low level format tool then do a full format on the usb stick before flashing. This is the normal cure for this.

I found on some larger memory sticks it refuses to read so partitioning it so it shows as only 2gb solved the problem.

But in this case I would say it may not be reading due to older bootloader so it is looking for xpeedlx rather then cloudix so try changing the folder name to just see if it flashes.
