Vix support ended?

Hi. Havnt been on here for a while because I was happy with my set up. Until today I tried to download a plugin for my s2 yet I got the message

"Sorry feeds are down for maintenance, please try again later...."

I done a quick Google search and I think someone said vix has ended and time to move to open a TV!?

What consequences would staying with vix have if the support has ended, and what's the difference between vix and atv as I've never used it?

Never have used vix other than 20mins testing out different firmware for th h2s

you can add all your own plugins when ever you want
its just you won't be able to update them
but a lot of people here will say once you are up and running you have no need to update
if it works it works

ViX have never supported Zgemmas as far as I know but they worked from a patched image from another box.
ViX have just turned off the feeds for older versions. If you backup your settings and line and install a newer version it will work fine.

Vix has never been official support for zgemma boxes. Ours still works fine just can't get plugins anymore with is no major deal to us
