i also notice on vix my epg is screwed up and i changed to epg import and 0 events load :poop:
told to reflash as something not right.

Yeah as I said on the other forum, my stream EPG crap lately on latest VIX too. Peeing me right aff!

But i don't really want to re flash as i have a massive problem getting the line back in and working as vixe2project is a pig i had to ask dangerous to help

Too much posts here not read them all lol. What other issues you got? It's ATV based now so no cams would have been there I presume.

epg not working or just a day and cant seem to get the new rytec ones if i uninstall and reinstall it just comes back the same even after restarting.It seems to record the channel it's on if the box is turned on and on that channel but if the box is turned off it seems to record either a black screen or it only records for about 1 minuet

Can you software update that then? Never used it though! :-) is this a Zgemma?

i updated/reflashed and started from scratch my et and everything has changed even looking for my epg source:eek::D

Ok to be on safe side try the stream epg feed. Disable/uninstall epg import again. In epg settings make sure virgin half way down set to yes then select a VM preview channel and stay on it while making a cuppa then check your EPG?

Re your recordings is it a USB record to? Got another can try?

Will try that which I suppose means I would have to do that every few days and no it saves the epg to a hard drive
 
Have you tired using cross epg there is an option in settings to allow virgin then once did that go to the virgin movie preview channel and sit there for about couple of mins should be sorted [emoji16]

See if works first. Gives you 5 days epg. Seems to take about 10 mins now not 5 like it use to to fully populate.

Have you ever uninitialized hdd and started again with it? You could copy anything to your pc first.

Geoff, as you know the image for that venton box is put together by vix4e2 project. Its based on atv. You should contact the guy on skype for help, if needed he will remote in and make changes. Its free.
