VLC on Firestick, how to add EPG

I have installed VLC on firestick and the url I have from my provider works ok but the channels just come up as numbers, there is no way to see whats on or what channel is what.

Is there a way to add an EPG to VLC on a firestick?

Are you using m3u_plus url? That should show channel names. For epg you'll be best using an app like smarters or xciptv or see if provider has own app.
