Sorry mate. I have never used Vix. I use transparent white 100 x 60 picons.

Using Openvix 5, to run Chabs script files. What should the last two lines be set at.

U need to the script file in the correct location. For vix

Its /usr/scripts

Atv is /usr/script

Then chmod 777 both files

One of the link is broken in those files. I have fixed it but been lazy to upload. Pls pm me tomorrow and remind me.

Also from ur pic you need to use your tv remote and correct the tv screen size. It has an overscan. Set it to just scan or fit to screen....

if you using ATV:

/usr/script

if Vix

/usr/scripts

There are 3 scripts

telnet and chmod 777 to all three files

chmod 777 /usr/scripts/run-me-first.sh

chmod 777 /usr/scripts/ChabsScrape.sh

chmod 777 /usr/scripts/VM2Picks.sh

Then run

/usr/scripts/run-me-first.sh

/usr/scripts/ChabsScrape.sh

/usr/scripts/VM2Picks.sh

Morning Chabs. Thanks for scrip files. The 3 scrip files to download, do you use them through FileZilla. Is there two options Filezilla with the downloaded scrip files or telnet copy and paste.
 
Yes mate.

You can ftp them to your box any way you want it as long as you put them in the correct place.

Use putty and telnet to ur box and use the above commands and see what it says...

Ok will try when home, so FileZilla doesn’t work for that? Any pointers on how to use putty and telnet?

thanks for reply I Thought so. When I go to run the scripts, the first 2 run, but I get this when I run /usr/scripts/VM2Picks.sh. the last part hangs on image 1.

Use putty instead of the box. Run the scripts using putty from your pc or laptop.

I have got the 3 scripts working through FileZilla. Enclosed is two pics. Is the 1st Pic
ChabsScrape.sh daily and the 2nd Pic the VM2Picks.sh is the hour to change the top picks. I take it 00:00 is hours and mins.
