VM2 HD Skin

Hi Chabs,

On Zgemma H5 I had to upgrade from OpenPLI 7.3 to 9.2 and get GSOD when using your VM2-HD v3 plugin.
When opening the EPGImport app and pressing yellow for manual import or even green button to save the box crashes with GSOD, I have attached some crashlogs.
All of them contain: TypeError: in method 'new_ePoint', argument 1 of type 'int'

Are you able to fix it? I've tried some others and usability wise this is still the best skin IMO all these years so want to carry on if it can be fixed.

With OpenPLI 9 I think there has been some ui capability changes so would be really good if you could modernise this plugin. Even the toppicks scripts no longer work.

Chabs no longer supports the skin pal and has not been on here for 4 years.

There's not many people on here using openpli. There wasn't many when enigma2 was in it heyday, most used Atv or Vix, but even those are dwindling now.
I'm not near my zgemma now (plain atv) but there may be a similar skin in the plugins, I'll check later.
Maybe one of the Vix dudes, @Willo3092 or @moshibeth could check for you in their skin plugins
 
I had a faff with one of KiddaC's skins and tried to make a virgin skin from it but it turned out a bit naff.

It's not on plain openatv, just checked and only 3 kiddac skins, all Slyk skins, no sign of any other V type skins available

Just his vskin using Openvix. I'm not sure about pli but I think his other skins work so it's possible pli would work aswel.

Re feeds his vskin isn't on feeds probably because it's not a popular skin (I think I'm the only one that still uses it 😂) it can be found via Google "kiddac vskin 1080"

I'm not well up on skins and images etc, I've no idea what skins would work on what images...newer images are based on python 3, do the skins have to be py3 or would py2 skins work?
If the OP downloaded the kiddac vskin would it work on pli 9.2?

I use it on py3 but yes certain parts of skins would need to be py3 compatible if they use there own custom converters hence issues with chans skin.

I'm not sure if pli would be compatible only way to find out is install the skin along with the shared skin ipk and test it. Worse case scenario if the box doesn't boot is delete the skin folder in usr/share/enigma2
 
Thanks guys for trying to help. I have installed kiddac's vskin 1080 and it doesn't display graphicalEPG rygb buttons and epg descriptions. The box then also crashes on pressing some of the rgyb buttons when in channel select. Accessing the grahpicalEPG screen and the box just gsod.
I have left a message with kiddac on his thread to see if he will support OpenPLI skin and also asked OpenPLI what it will take to support other image skins.
